'My work is mainly still life oil paintings with a focus on accidental arrangements I come across in everyday life. Recently, I have been increasingly drawn to objects that are timeless: collections of things in flea markets, car-boot sales, and second-hand shops. Alongside these influences, my work has also been inspired by the plants and debris I see on walks along the Thames estuary. I am interested in the individual character of things and exploring their influence on the way I paint them'
